Rich Cowley is one unusual fellow. When Rich moved to California from the Philadelphia area in the early 1990's, it was as a professional magician. (He moved to the West Coast mainly so he could join the Magic Castle, an exclusive magician's club in Hollywood.) Years ago, when a friend asked Rich to perform his wedding, Rich got ordained and performed the ceremony. Afterwards, they thought his days as a minister were over right there and then. Little did he know the path ahead; his friend's wedding planner liked Rich so much, she booked him for many weddings over the next few years. One of those weddings was for a reality show on TV; once Rich got that national exposure, he became a "hot ticket", performing weddings all over Southern California! Because of his magical background, Rich always tries to avoid the normal. Instead of the traditional wedding ceremony (where the minister uses the same old script for every couple he works for), Rich much prefers working with each couple individually, hand-crafting a ceremony that reflects the couple perfectly. Because of that extra care and attention, his weddings are "usually unusual", and are always unforgettable! |
